Constituency candidates

The following forms are for use in respect of constituency candidates:

Completion guidance - SP constituency
Return - SP constituency
Agent declaration - SP constituency
Candidate declaration - SP constituency

If any expenditure incurred by any other person or organisation, with the written authorisation of the election agent, should be reported in a return to be submitted to the relevant officer within 21 days of the day the election result is declared.

These returns only need to be submitted where expenditure as explained above has been incurred. Returns should be completed and submitted by the person who incurred the expenditure, not by the election agent or the candidate.

Regional list candidates

Party list candidates
Expenditure incurred in the promotion of candidates standing on a registered party list constitutes party campaign expenditure and is subject to the controls of PPERA. Such expenditure does not constitute candidates election expenditure, and candidates standing on a registered party list are only required to submit a declaration of personal expenses, not an election expenses return.

Candidate declaration - SP list

Individual candidates
Election agents of individual candidates (i.e. those not standing on behalf of a registered party) need to complete and submit a candidates election expenses return. The return must be accompanied by signed declarations by both the agent and the candidate.
