The Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000 (PPERA) regulates individuals and organisations known as regulated donees. These are defined as any of the following:
Regulated donees are subject to controls on the acceptance of donations made to them in connection with their political activities, and are required to make reports of donations above a certain value to us. Further information for regulated donees can be found on the following pages:
