Local elections (excluding Authority elections)
The following forms are for use by candidates contesting any local government election in England or Wales with the exception of parish and community elections, elections to the London Assembly and election of the Mayor of London:

Any expenditure incurred by any other person or organisation, with the written authorisation of the election agent, should be reported in a return to be submitted to the relevant officer within 21 days of the day the election result is declared.
These returns only need to be submitted where expenditure as explained above has been incurred. Returns should be completed and submitted by the person who incurred the expenditure, not by the election agent or the candidate.

Parish and community elections
Whilst parish, town and community elections are regulated under the RPA candidates contesting these elections are subject to lesser controls than candidates at other elections. The following forms and guidance are for use by candidates contesting parish, town and community elections:
